“It is our aim to give a firm grounding in the core subjects while striving to provide a wider range of learning experiences aimed at nurturing the aesthetic, creative and physical faculties of the child.”

The school has 150 pupils from four to thirteen years of age. There are six class teachers and one special education teacher.
Our motto is “Go raibh Sonas ar ár nDaltaí”(That our children may be happy). We try to foster an enjoyable learning environment which places the young child at the centre of all school activities and decisions.

The school grounds are spacious with two playing pitches, a hard playing surface and our hurling wall which proves popular with children from all classes.
Pupils also maintain a small garden in the school grounds. The school has updated its general purpose room to incorporate a removable stage and seating for almost 150 adults. This fine space is used for PE by all pupils.
