Child Safeguarding Policy

Child Safeguarding – ensuring safe practice and appropriate responses by workers and volunteers to concerns about the safety or welfare of children, including online concerns, should these arise.

Child safeguarding is about protecting the child from harm, promoting their welfare and, in doing so, creating an environment which enables children and young people to grow, develop and achieve their full potential.

Anti-Bullying Policy

This policy fully complies with the requirements of the Anti-Bullying Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools which were published in September 2013.

Whole School Evaluation - Department Of Education

The Department of Education carry out Whole School Evaluations (WSEs) in primary and post-primary schools. During these inspections, they evaluate the quality of the school management and leadership, the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, and the school’s own planning and self-review.

During 2016 a WSE was conducted in our school and the outcome from this report was extremely positive.
